This page will have info on my Xbee Digimesh design. The basic idea is to use the mesh network as the main control for all trains, signals, inputs, animations, etc, and have ‘translators’ for Airwire, Bluetooth, Revo, Protothrottle and USB serial. This is still just thoughts in my head at the moment but I do have a lot of Xbee code already developed and working. The main thrust of this will be to have an open network based on the Xbee API that anyone with most any type of controller can join and run trains, battery power, battery DCC and live steam. That is the grand scheme anyhow. More details to follow.
